Spring and summer have come and gone, the days are beginning to get shorter and the tree leaves have started to turn brown.  This can only mean one thing...Welcome to another exciting season of Hitmen Hockey!  Training camp is over and it's time for our boys to hit the ice again with what looks to be a very strong team that could very well go all the way to Kitchener this spring if things go their way.

 
HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY
 
The Calgary Hitmen Booster Club is very happy to be entering 10th season supporting the Calgary Hitmen players and the entire Hitmen organization.  Be sure to keep an eye on this website for some exciting upcoming promotions!  If you'd like to join our team and see what the Booster Club is all about, stop by and see us on the concourse behind section 211-212 at any  Hitmen home game, we'd love to meet you!  Occasionally, we have players and alumni stop by for a chat so come and see us soon as you never know who will be there!  We always welcome new fans and new ideas on how to provide the best support possible for our wonderful team and we hope to see you soon! 
 
 
MEET THE HITMEN
 
The Calgary Hitmen Booster Club is proud to be working with the Calgary Hitmen this year hosting player autograph sessions after each weekend home game!  This is a great opportunity for all Hitmen fans to reconnect with their favorite returning Hitmen players as well as meet the new boys joining the Hitmen team this season.
 
The Booster Club is also very happy to be teaming up with the great people at East Side Marios again this season to give lucky Hitmen fans a chance to win dinner with their favorite players.  Hitmen fans will  have a chance to win every month with this promotion.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
 

The Calgary Hitmen Booster Club and the Calgary Hitmen have teamed up with goaltender Martin Jones for a brand new contest that starts September 21st.  Martin is breaking in a new mask and he wants your help and fresh ideas on how the new mask should look!  If you're the creative type, submit your goalie mask design/concept for the chance to win an autographed Martin Jones jersey along with a meet & greet for you and a guest plus 4 tickets to the Teddy Bear Toss game December 2nd.  On top of that, the lucky winner, as chosen by Martin, will also receive a customized framed picture featuring a collage of photos with your winning design, you and Martin Jones, and a picture of Martin wearing the mask during a game.The contest ends October 21st.  You can download a blank goalie mask by visiting the Booster Club tables at home games or by visiting the www.Hitmenhockey.com website.  Get your entries in!

ANNUAL BOOSTER CLUB DINNER WITH THE HITMEN
 
Speaking of dinners, the Booster Club is holding our annual Dinner with the Hitmen on Wednesday,October 17th.  This year, we are very proud to present the sometimes controversial but always entertaining Dave "Tiger" Williams as our guest speaker.  As someone who has followed Tiger's career from his days with the Broncos in Swift Current to his NHL days with the Maple Leafs and Canucks,  I know he'll have the players on the edge of their seats with his stories of playing in the Dub and the NHL.  This is a great way for Booster Club members to enjoy dinner with their favorite player, get some pictures and autographs and maybe even get an answer to that question you've always wanted to ask.  This is also the first time of the season, away from the rink, for fans to meet the entire team for 2007-2008


 

SONNE AND PLANTE FIND DAY JOBS
 
This season we are very happy to have Hitmen players Brett Sonne and Alex Plante join forces with the Hitmen Booster Club.  When Brett and Alex are not practicing or playing hockey, you can usually find them at the movies.  So this season, the guys will be writing a monthly movie review that fans will be able to read right here on our website!  Brett and Alex have been given full creative carte blanche to do the reviews their way and if you  know anything about these two guys, you know this is going to prove to be a lot of fun.
