We went
into this movie not knowing what to expect. Will Ferrell is a
comedic genius but we didn't know how he would pull off this style
of movie. This movie takes place in the sixty's, and semi pro
basketball teams were merging into the NBA to expand the league.
Will Ferrell's team (Flint Tropics) were a poor semi pro team that
did not have a good record, causing there attendance to go down.
Will
Ferrell, team coach, manager, and player was informed that his team
would be forced to fold if they didn't place in one of the top four
spots in their league. The top four teams would merge into the
NBA and the rest would be forced to fold. Will the Flint
Tropics live to see another season ?

thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It was outrageously funny,
which is what you typically get when you go see a Will Ferrell
movie. I also watched this movie sober, and I believe that the
movie would be twice as funny if you had a couple of "beverages" in
your system !

enjoyed this movie, and like Alex I agree that the hilarity of this
movie would at least double if you were intoxicated. I really
enjoyed myself even though I went to this movie sober. Coming
to the conclusion, you don't need alcohol to have fun.
