Then Consider Joining the Calgary Hitmen Booster Club!
The Calgary Hitmen
Booster Club is very proud to continue our close association with
the Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club throughout the 2007-08 season. This
is our tenth year with the Calgary Hitmen and we feel honored to be
able to provide our boys with the encouragement and support that
they deserve.
Do you have a favorite
Hitmen player? Then come and meet him at any of our Booster Club
events!
We are a group of
hockey fans of all ages that work to promote good will and
attendance at all Hitmen Games.
We support charitable
events such as the Annual Hitmen Golf Tournament held in August and
the all-important Hitmen Scholarship Fund.
We are also involved
with our players and their families at training camp and our main
objective is to provide support for all the players any way we can.
Throughout the season,
Booster Club members enjoy exclusive access to the players for a
team dinner, fun night, etc. It’s a great way to meet the boys
and see what they’re up to away from the rink!
Every Hitmen home game
gives fans a chance to win a Hitmen Jersey (or similar of your
choice) with our jersey draw and proceeds go towards the Hitmen
Scholarship Fund. We also have Christmas hamper draws, Booster Club
merchandise, and a “Back to the Boys” fund, which we use to fill
their dressing room cupboards with healthy snacks.
Each year we provide
our players with scrapbooks featuring media articles in which they
appear and we’re always looking for volunteers to help us out with
those!
Come by and see us on
the concourse behind
Section 212
on any game day as we’d love to meet you!
Occasionally we have
players and alumni stop by for a chat so come and see us soon as you
never know who will be there! We always welcome new fans and new
ideas on how to provide the best support possible for our wonderful
team and hope to meet you soon!
